People talking about the Cedric parody of one of Taylor's albums (it's on Disney Junior's tiktok) and all I can think about is that everybody knows that Cedric is a Lana Del Rey coded guy and Sofia is a Taylor Swift fan, and they missed that 😭🙏

Who's your top 5 favorite sofia the first characters ?

I've never really thought about it, aside from Sofia being my fave (and obviously I'm not counting the Disney Princesses for this one), but I guess something along these lines;

I made this drawing at the height of my Sofia the First Hyperfixation which is well documented on this app as it is probably half my posts.

I couldn’t decide whether I wanted her to be a mermaid or a witch so I decided on her being a Merwitch. Her staff bird is a seabird because I figure that makes the most sense for a mermaid though I did consider the possibility that Merwitchs would just have ocean animals but I finally decided that I just like puffins so that’s what it would be.

Her name is Eris Melusine. I think she would be good friends with Lucinda. She likes witchcraft a lot though I’m guessing it would be very uncommon and taboo underwater since Ursula is the only underwater witch I can think of, sure the royal family has magical artifacts but that’s different

This was one of the hardest drawings because Sofia the First is 3d animation and I draw in 2d.

She deserves more love and attention, and I hope that she'll appear on the StF sequel, and that Merit Leighton will return to voice her!

Lucinda is one of my favorite STF characters! I sadly haven't watched much of the show in years, but I do remember fondly when her first episode came out. I love her design, she's one of my faves!

Yeah, I did cheat with her dress patterns, but it was mostly out of making my life easier hahaha

Just One of the Princes:

Sofia's introduction to royal life involves flying horses with wings. After watching a flying derby race, she joins the Royal Prep flying derby team, determined to be the first princess on it. With the support of her friends and a small horse named Minimus, she trains hard and eventually wins, proving that anything can be a 'princess thing'.

The Little Witch:

Sofia returns to the Dunwiddie Village for Jade's birthday party and meets a young witch named Lucinda, who has been hexing children out of loneliness. Sofia teaches Lucinda how to make friends. Lucinda undoes her spells on the village kids, including Jade's garden. Jade builds a trap that backfires, ruining the party and blaming Lucinda. After reflecting, Jade realises her mistake and invites Lucinda to the party again. Lucinda uses magic to fix everything, and they celebrate Jade's birthday together.

So, Um, I'm Aqui. Hello STF Fandom!

Hi! So, I've been writing STF fanfic on AO3 for a little while now, and I decided to check out the fandom on tumblr. I really love the show and think the universe has lots of room for transformative work!

My name, Aqui, comes from the fact that my favourite colour used to be blue and it has always been my online username - it is not inspired by AquaTurquoise, although I mean no disrespect to them.

In terms of ships, my personal favourite is Netvy (Nettle/Ivy), however I also like to write Cedric/Roland, Cedric/wormwood (context dependant, see my fic), platonic Cedfia (on ao3 this is normally called Cedfia friendship?) and, when aged up, Sofia/Lucinda.

I don't typically write romantic relationships with the child characters from the show. Not trying to make a moral statement there, I just don't.

One of my favourite things to do is make and share head cannons, oftentimes these can end up more like AU's in my case :D

I really look forward to meeting new people in this fandom - hopefully I'll even be able to recruit a few more Netvy shippers, if I'm lucky. (also, say hi if you recognise me from AO3!!! <3)

Some ideas for how magic works in the STF universe for my fic! Some of this *may* be able to be Headcanons? I’m not far enough yet to see whether or not there’s anything notable to contradict it yet. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy!!

One of the main questions I had was what the difference in a witch vs a sorcerer was in the show. I mean, they both use magic, right? But isn’t Cedric’s mom referred to as a sorcerer? And wasn’t Ms. Nettle’s disguise referred to as a sorcerer as well? So, then, if female sorcerers aren’t witches, what defines the two? It isn’t good vs evil either, because Lucinda never calls herself a sorcerer, just a “good witch”

My idea thus far is that witches (and wizards) are born with magic inside of them that they can harness and use at their will, whilst sorcerers command the magic in the areas around them.

I guess technically fairies could be considered witches as well under this rule, but I figure fairies are more of a non-human species, while witches (in my reasoning) are a human species.

This makes two categories of humans that use magic: either they’re a witch born with strong magic in them that they control, or they’re a sorcerer who commands the magic around them

I also like to believe that witches can’t do what sorcerers do and vise versa, but I’m open to changing that if the need arises.
